George has a nostalgic “armpit crush” on a young publicist he hopes to woo at the opening of a new Brooklyn restaurant.
George telling Jonathan about how he fell in love, because of armpit hair, made me laugh so hard.
George: “Lately, I’ve been going nuts over women’s arms. Actually, the arm… pit. I just love it. It’s this… other secret place to burrow into. But you don’t have to slide far down the bed to get to it. Maybe it’s laziness, I don’t— I don’t know ah…ha…
This also a childhood connection.”
Jonathan: “Something happened with you and an armpit in childhood?”
George: “Yeah yes.. I was on the school bus, ehm, eleven years old. And this girl, aaa Trudy is her name. I remember she was wearing a yellow dress, and, when you stood up to reach to the ehm..the pole, sunlight came through the windshield..and I can see her armpit. There, it is beautiful..very slide..blond..yellow hair..
I fell in love.”
Jonathan: “Why did you think the hair made you fell in love?”
George: “Because I knew that matter choose becoming a woman.”
Jonathan: “I like that story”
Bored To Death has blossomed in the form of a few tiny blond underarm hairs.
Then, They two getting high before they met George’s new interest was also funny.
